This part of my website was the most challenging for me.  I am a pretty private person and I like to help others but have a hard time opening up about myself.  Maybe something about my story will help, motivate and/or teach you something.  I was born and raised in a small (not anymore) town a little south of Dallas.  My entire extended family from both of my parents all live in Michigan so I did not grow up around my Grandparents or very many of my cousins.  I have a HUGE family and I LOVE IT!  My family would travel to Michigan when I was younger for our summer and Christmas vacation.  Fast forward a few years to when my parents divorced.  I was 10 years old.  I don't believe that divorces are easy on anyone and definitely not on children.  Lets just say that my parents weren't the best of friends and we have all come a LONG way since then and enjoy many dinners together.  My brothers and I were big soccer players and stayed busy with that.  My dad remarried my stepmom, Cindy, and our family grew even bigger! Years later my mom remarried my stepdad, Byron, and again, our family grew even bigger!  Fast forward a few more years to when I became a teenager.  I was not a well behaved child and I made many stupid decisions and was very wild well throughout my late teens.  A big thanks to my parents for keeping me out of legal trouble.  I learned a lot of lessons from that time in my life (later on of course) and have learned how to help others.  I will share my story with anyone that would like to hear about it privately if it will help them or help them understand a troubled child;  it is too much to get into here.  Fast forward and I ended up graduating high school early and started working and taking some college classes.  I was never a huge fan of school and took different courses but ended up just working.  I worked different jobs and then ended up working at my stepmom's law firm. I worked there and LOVED working in the criminal defense field.  I hung out with one of our Private Investigators on a case and FELL IN LOVE!  I signed up under another investigation's company soon after. I went to a program through UNT for Private Investigators and learned a ton.  I took my State test after I finished the course and passed on the 1st try (huge accomplishment thanks to my Dad - we would sit by the pool and have a beer while he helped me study for months).  I opened my own company, Ermatinger Private Investigations (now a LLC), at the age of 22 with $5,000.00 to my name (thanks to my boyfriend, now husband, at the time that got me a one time job that got me that $5,000.00).  I had an apartment with my roommate who turned best friend and learned that I love having a full plate!  Being a new business owner at the age of 22 (still having a lot of play time in my life) really opened a lot of doors and formed me into the woman I am today.  I specialize in Criminal Defense and absolutely love what I do and the people I work with.  It is and always has been a lot of work but I still would not change a thing.  Fast forward some more to 2016 to where I married my best friend, Terry. He came with 3 extra blessings! We also have a 100 pound Goldendoodle, Jace, and just took in a stray that I named Orph.  And yes, my husband is quite a bit older than me (obviously if you saw our pictures)!  He is also a business owner and a Constable.  I also recently took over helping him run his salon and day spa.  We live a crazy busy, fun and happy life!  We spend a lot of time with our families and try to have "our" time too!  I have yet to get him on my health kick but he eats what I cook so that's a start!

I have always been pretty healthy and active and have really kicked it up the last 6 to 8 years. I was somewhat still healthy before that but was also living a lifestyle with a lot of late nights out which turned into not so healthy 2am Whataburger visits and Sunday all you can eat pizza day. Those days bring back great memories but I enjoy my late 20's so much more! Then it happened!  I kept seeing Bonnie Engle's posts on Facebook and I decided to reach out to her to see about being a Beachbody Coach.  I love to help others reach their goals and be the best they can be.  I LOVE to share my workout ideas, recipes, and tips that I have found to work and have spent my downtime researching.  I love the way taking care of myself makes me feel and the energy that comes along with it. I find so much joy when it works for others and it truly makes me happy to see other people happy with who they are.  After corresponding with Bonnie, I made the leap and became a BeachBody Coach!
